C B N isolates star sons in N B K meet

Shocked by the actor Junior NTR’s decision not to attend the Yuva Garjana public meeting at Guntur on November 5, the Telugu Desam chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has asked other actors in the NTR clan, with the exception of Balakrishna, to keep off from the meeting. The move is intended to avoid giving the idea that there are differences among NTR heirs and at the same time to step up pressure on Junior NTR to reconsider his decision.

By asking other actors not to attend the meet, Mr Naidu is telling the NTR family that they should resolve their differences. It is understood that Junior NTR refused to attend the meeting as his attempts to get a Telugu Desam ticket for the film director Vamshi from Gannavaram were being blocked by members of the NTR clan.  Mr Naidu has also asked Balakrishna, and Mr Hari Krishna, RS member and father of Junior NTR, to ask the young actor to review his decision. “Our leader is trying his best to rope him for a brief appearance. The actor is yet to respond,” sources said. The TD cadres were agitated that Junior NTR would not attend the Yuva Garjana as they were heavily banking on his presence to pull crowds.

“We strongly believe that the star will attend the meeting. We do not believe the news that he is not coming to the meet,” said the leaders. Many senior TD leaders, including the former home minister, Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, and the local legislator, Mr D. Narendra, have kept out of the organising duties of the event.
Different fan organisations of NTR heirs met on Thursday to take stock of the situation. The presidents of the fans association of Nandamuri, NTR, Balakrishna and Junior NTR are meeting supporters to get their backing for the meeting and to dispel doubts about disunity among the stars.-DC
